From 5 June, Aircalin gradually resumes some of its long and medium-haul commercial flights.
This partial resumption has been put in place in collaboration with the State, the Government of New Caledonia and the CCI-NC, and remains conditional on safe access to La Tontouta International Airport.

Beyond these flights, Tontouta airport remains closed until further notice.

Pending a return to a normal situation, this partial resumption takes into account safety constraints for passengers and flight crews, traffic on the RT1, curfew times and airport operations.

The authorities are also organising MANDATORY transport for passengers and their luggage between La Tontouta and Nouméa, by land with Arc-en-ciel. Shuttle buses are organised from/to Port Moselle, car park on avenue Foch opposite the Musée de la NC.

If the situation requires it, air transport with Air Calédonie may be reactivated with shuttle buses organised between the RAI bus station, the former CHT car park, and Magenta aerodrome. In this case, baggage would be strictly limited to a single item weighing 23 kg per passenger.

Please note

  • Passengers whose flights are confirmed will be notified and contacted by Aircalin staff. We invite all passengers to read the travel information here.
  • People living near the airport or to the north of La Tontouta can only get there directly from 3 hours before departure (no parking, but drop-off possible).
  • The Business Hibiscus lounge is not available in this context.

The list of authorised flights will be updated as the situation develops.
Other flights will unfortunately be cancelled.
